The law requires that any plant operator is given adequate training by their employer so that they become competent to operate the machinery which they use (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998; regulation 9). CPCS and NPORS card schemes offer training and testing on all items of plant and cranes lending employers flexible training and assessment schemes that allow them to remain legally compliant whilst bolstering productivity on site and aiding staff retention.
 
Alongside our extensive CPCS and NPORS plant training offering J3M Construction Training Limited are also able to offer
 
NVQ Assessments for all specialist tunnelling, plant and crane/lifting and supervisory / management pathways, allowing candidates to demonstrate their competence and upgrade to the relevant NPORS and/or CPCS Competent Operator cards.
